Saroj Shrestha is a corporate lawyer with over 35 years of professional experience in Nepal. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lotus Law Associates, Kathmandu, Nepal. He earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, India, in 1998. In addition to his academic qualifications, he has completed several prestigious international professional programs, including the Development Lawyers Course in Rome, Italy (1999), the Academy of American and International Law Program in the United States (2003), and the Private International Law Course at The Hague Academy of International Law, The Hague, the Netherlands (2005).

Mr. Shrestha has received several international recognitions, including the International Bar Association (IBA) Scholar Award (2003), conferred at the International Bar Association Annual Conference in San Francisco, USA, and the prestigious M.S. Lin Memorial Scholar Award (2004), presented by the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) at its Annual Conference in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

He is actively involved in various national and international professional organizations and has held several leadership positions, including Nepal and International Bar Associations.
