Nepali and non-Nepali national who have completed 10+2 or intermediate or equivalent level of study program of at least two years duration in any discipline securing minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate or CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0 from universities/boards recognized by Kathmandu University may apply. The students who have appeared in the final exam of qualifying degree and have passed all the previous year's exams may apply on provisional basis subject to the condition that they will succeed.

1 University of Cambridge, UK (A- Level) -Three A level and One AS level courses.
-Aggregate Percentage Uniform Mark (PUM) of 50% or Minimum D/d in each subject.
2 International Baccalaureate (IB), Switzerland Minimum 6 subjects (at least 3 courses in Higher Level) with 26 point in aggregate.
3 Council for Technical, Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Nepal Three-year diploma with aggregate of 50%.
4 CBSE, India 50% in aggregate.

The students who have appeared in the final exam of qualifying degree and have passed all the previous year's exams may apply on provisional basis on the condition that they will succeed in the final exam.
