BBM-LL.B
Bachelor of Business Management & Bachelor of Laws
You get a full professional law degree with sufficient knowledge of business management. The program has been designed to help students who want to practice law in government, corporate offices, or international groups with a commercial edge that regular law graduates lack.
BEc-LL.B
Bachelor of Economics & Bachelor of Laws
You get a full professional law degree with a strong side of economics. The program will help you understand how money and markets actually work. It is built for people who want to practice law with a major advantage in finance, corporate regulation, and government policy.          
Eligibility Criteria
Nepali and non-Nepali nationals who have completed 10+2, intermediate, or equivalent(minimum two-year program) in any discipline with:
  • Minimum 45% marks in aggregate, or
  • CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0
from universities/boards recognized by Kathmandu University.

Students who have appeared in the final exam of their qualifying degree and passed all previous exams may apply on a provisional basis, subject to passing the final exam.

Dr. Narayan Baskota

Visiting Faculty, Kathmandu University School of Law

Dr. Narayan Baskota is a professional with over two decades of teaching experience at various constituent and affiliated colleges of Tribhuvan University. He joined the Kathmandu University School of Law as a visiting faculty member for Mathematics, Economics, and Finance in early 2025.

He brings a wide range of experience in teaching subjects such as Finance, Accountancy, Management, Entrepreneurship Development, New Product Development, and Working Capital Management. In addition to his academic contributions, he has actively supervised master’s-level thesis work in Finance and conducted research in the fields of Behavioral Finance and Financial Economics.

Beyond academia, Dr. Baskota has provided valuable guidance to the banking and development sectors. He has served on the boards of various financial institutions in Nepal, including Rastriya Banijya Bank.

Dr. Baskota has nearly a decade of experience in the development sector, where he has been involved in numerous policy research initiatives focusing on public finance, budget analysis, and fiscal federalism.

He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Economics, an M.Phil. and MBA in Finance, as well as a Bachelor of Law, reflecting a strong interdisciplinary academic foundation.
